Two annual robust large scale quantitative annual surveys, using quota sampling to recruit respondents from YouGov's online panel. In total 18,879 respondents from across Great Britain, aged 18 and over, participated in the 2020 survey, while similar amounts for the other years available. Data includes key demographic variables along with information on gambling participation and gambling harms and reported demand and uptake for treatment and support services. The dataset also includes information on 'affected others' (those who are currently or have been affected by another person's gambling). For each individual response, a weighting variable is supplied for building a representative profile across the country, and the approximate location (LSOA) is also included for 2019, 2020 and 2022 (some 2022 records have postcode sector instead, and some just have UK region). For 2021, the UK region is indicated. The data from the 2019 surveys (two phases), 2020, 2021 and 2022 surveys are available.
