LPIP Projects
LPIP projects help improve understanding of how easily people can access the services and opportunities they need for everyday life. This includes access to education from nursery through to university, healthcare services such as GP surgeries, dentists, hospitals and pharmacies, and food provision through supermarkets, local food shops, cafés and food banks.
The projects also examine access to employment opportunities by analysing the location of workplaces, industries and business sectors, helping to identify areas where jobs may be more or less accessible. By bringing together these different measures of accessibility, LPIP projects support evidence-based research and policy development aimed at reducing inequalities and improving quality of life across communities.
